Board of Trustees Special Meeting


April 09, 2019



The Village of Elmwood Board of Trustees met for a Special Meeting on Tuesday, April 09, 2019 at the Elmwood Community Center. The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.   A current copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act was posted; additional meeting documents were available. Village Board members present: Kathy Goerlitz, Miki Bruns, Rebecca Kicak. Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by posting in three (3) public places (the Post Office, Village Office, and Elmwood Convenience Store). 



Purpose of the Meeting:  Review/discuss 60% Comprehensive Plan Draft



Lynn Dittmer, JEO Engineering, presented the draft of the Comprehensive Plan which is 60% complete.  A copy of the plan was given to the committee prior to the meeting to allow time for review.  Committee members offered comments and questions.  Lynn will incorporate the appropriate information and will send out the next update of the plan.



Zoning Book: Lynn asked that everyone review the zoning book and send her changes.  The Planning Commission is already in the process of reviewing the book so they will give her their input.  This information is due by August 1st.  She also asked if the Planning Commission could send all amendments to the Zoning Book since 2002.  The Planning Commission indicated that they would do this right away.




Adjournment: There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:04 p.m.
