Village of Elmwood

The Village of Elmwood Board of Trustees met in regular session with Trustees Fields, Ernst, Ronhovde and Chairman Blunt presiding. All signed the "Notice of Acknowledgement of Meeting". Butch Sailors, Linda Blunt, Carl Voyles, Curt Wilhelm, Rick Hawks, Corey Marcoe, Lucas Billesbach, Dan Spaulding and Becky vonRentzell were also in attendance.
Chairman Blunt declared the Open Meeting Act Posted.
Minutes from the July1, 2010 meeting were presented. Chairman Blunt declared the minutes approved.
Reports
Streets: Chairman Blunt announced "F" Street would be moved 2 feet to the North. Curt Wilhelm and Carl Voyles suggested that homeowners be notified by mail a couple months in advance when major projects would affect their properties. No Action Taken. Rick Hawks voiced concerns regarding the new sidewalk on West Street. He advised the sidewalk should be installed on the West side, not the East side. No Action Taken.
Park: Trustee Ronhovde requested the summer help spray for weeds on the bike trail and under the playground equipment. Spaulding affirmed he would take care of it.
Library: No Action Taken.
Water: No Action Taken.
Sewer: Motioned by Ronhovde, 2nd by Ernst to approve the Pay Application #7 in the amount of $502,596.41 to Hawkins Construction. RCV: Aye: All, Nay: None. Absent: Clymer. Motioned by Ronhovde, 2nd by Ernst to approve Change Order #3; regarding changing lift pumps to larger pumps. RCV: Aye: All, Nay: None. Absent: Clymer.
