- Purchase of new pump for Well 3, see bid from Layne Granite
The motor in Well 3 has failed. The well was down as of midnight on Tuesday morning. Layne Granite evaluated and provided a bid for a new motor. The water plant is keeping up but just barely. We will need to get this repaired quickly to get the well back in service. Operator will need to get 2 coliform tests done before putting the well back in service. Scott moved to approve the bid from Layne Granite for $10,349 plus no more than $5000 contingency incase it is needed to get the job done. Euse seconded the motion. RCV: 3-0 ayes, motion carried.
