REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Meeting Held at Elmwood Village Hall
The Village Board of Trustees met in regular session on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Chairperson Miki Bruns called the meeting to order at 7:00pm. Bruns stated that a current copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act was posted.
Roll Call was answered by Jared Blunt, Becky Kicak, Renee Holland & Miki Bruns. Absent: Pay Wray
Minutes: Holland made a motion, seconded by Kicak to approve April 21,2021 Minutes. RCV: Yes: Approved 4-0.
Kicak made a motion, seconded by Holland to approve the Claims and Payroll for May 1-4, 2021 RCV: Yes: Approved 4-0

New Business
Discussion/Action Stop signs at intersections by Coop
Tara Price submitted a letter with pictures requesting the village to place stop signs at the corner of B & 3rd on the East and West Corners. Several near miss car and semi collisions have almost occurred due to poor visibility at the corner. This has been determined a safety concern from the coop, especially during harvest time. Kicak made a motion to approve the stop signs, second by Blunt. Resolution at next meeting. RCV: Yes Approved 4-0
Discussion/Action Rock in alleyway of 2nd & D St.
Jeff will check on pricing for regular road rock and will discuss it with the board at the next village meeting.
Discussion/Action Ulmer Construction car/bike show July 31st
Miki informed the board that the event will take place July 31st, 2021 from 8:00am – 4:30pm

Reports/Boards, Commissions, and Committees
Library: Kicak made a motion approve April 2021 Minutes & Payroll, Second by Holland. RCV: Yes: Approved 4-0
Park: Miki reported that the Kindergarten classes from Conestoga Elementary (58 kids & adults) used the park for a field trip. Miki received many compliments about the park!
Jeff reported that the wood chips and movement of the dome would be happening next week.
Streets: No Report
Water: Ed told the board that he received information from the county regarding putting the water & sewer line maps online. The board discussed this and decided not to participate due to the possible security issues and because we have ample maps that can be utilized.
Sewer: The circuit board burned, and Ed will have a electrician evaluate if we will need a new board or if parts can just be replaced. Miki checked with Dave Ernst and reported that if the board needs to be fully replaced, we do have the funds for replacement.
